Annual Employee Appreciation Honors Milestones
Faculty and staff years of service honored April 21 at annual reception at Virginia Wesleyan

Gratitude was on the agenda April 21 as Virginia Wesleyan College held its annual Employee Appreciation Reception in the Pearce Hospitality Suite inside the Jane P. Batten Student Center. After a welcome and thank you from VWC President Scott D. Miller, service awards were presented to employees who have reached noteworthy career milestones.
Director of Human Resources Karla Rasmussen assisted President Miller in presenting the employee service awards to attendees at the event.
“We come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences,” said Rasmussen. “We have different gifts and strengths, different positions and responsibilities…yet we function within VWC as one community committed to a mission of education and service.”
